What I’m Wearing: Tie the Knot Sweater from Filly Flair

What I’m Wearing: Tie the Knot Sweater from Filly Flair

It’s here! It’s here! Fall is finally here! Except, it’s still like 80+ degrees outside here in the south. But, I’m holding out hope that the temperatures will drop over the next few weeks like they have in the past and I will be able to wear all the sweaters and all the boots! So, before I get into today’s effortless look, I have to confess that when it comes to buying fall and winter sweaters and tops, I always gravitate to off-white/cream/oatmeal shades. I just love how they look with my skin tone and that they match every.thing. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that today’s top from Filly Flair is that color. The side-knot trend is still going strong this season which is a good thing for me since (if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile) you know I love anything that hides/flatters my midsection. I paired it with some released hem skinny jeans (also from Filly Flair) and ankle booties.

This sweater, in my opinion, is flattering in all the right places. I’m usually a small but since I have long arms, I always have to size up with long-sleeved tops to get extra length in the arms. I like that the sleeves of this one has a slight, sublte bell to it at the hand.

Here’s a link to my jeans; they fit true to size. Sadly, this specific sweater is sold out but this knotted floral top is super cute. Plus, here are my other picks from my most recent Filly Flair order:

– Girl Next Door Taupe Long Bell Sleeve Ruffle Shoulder Top
Farmers Market Printed 3/4 Sleeve Blouse
Coffee Run Color Block Dress

Since my sweater is sold out, I found a couple very similar alternatives for you – both are super affordable! You can also buy my boots! (images lead to affiliate links – see disclaimer)

You look amazing, I can see why you love this color! We had a week of Fall weather and then went right back up to 90’s out west. I’m really hoping it drops again soon. 🙏🏼

Thank you so much! Ugh it’s so hot here, too! My kids were out in the kiddie pool today! I hate when it cools down and then heats back up – it’s such a tease!
