Is your family like the McCallisters who always take a family vacation over Christmas (without leaving some one behind, of course)? Are you headed to the beach, perhaps? Maybe on a cruise? A hotel with a nice, heated indoor pool? If you’ve answered “yes” to any of the above then keep reading! You’re not going to want to forget these 5 things to make you feel like you’re at home while still loving being on vaca.
A Mini-Tree. I think only sad thing about being away for Christmas is not having your tree there when you wake up on Christmas morning. Well, why not pack a small tree that you can decorate when you arrive at your destination? This one is pre-lit and is small enough to pack in your suitcase. Pack some small ornaments and you’re all set.
A Santa Cup and Plate so your little ones know that regardless of where they are, Santa will show up and enjoy the milk and cookies you leave for him! This set is super cute! Be sure to mail Santa a letter with your destination address on it so he knows where to find you!
Festive Beach Towels so you’re still in the spirit while working on your tan! These red and white striped ones aren’t overtly Christmas-y so you can use them all year round but are festive enough to still have a holly, jolly Christmas. Of course, don’t forget your sunscreen!
Sandman Swag. Who says you can’t have all the joys of Christmas at the beach? You most-likely won’t be building a snowman but you might be building a sandman (and he might be easier to create)! Don’t forget a scarf, top hat, carrot, and buttons for this eyes and smile!
Seriously, how genius is this? The magnets and reinforcing snaps are strong enough to prevent the bottoms from coming undone in the water and are totally kid safe. It will make a great gift so buy one of these for every little girl you know!
Well, there you have it. 4 of my Holiday Vacation Must Haves. What would you add to the list?
