What I’m Wearing: Marie Nohr Designs

I received the tops discussed in this post for free in exchange for my honest review. As always, all opinions are my own.

One of the things I hated about breastfeeding was not having a lot of nursing tops – they were overpriced and not very cute. The struggle was real for me because I don’t like to spend a lot on clothes. I prefer quantity/variety over high-priced labels. I say all that to say that I wish I would have found Marie Nohr Designs before now! We connected on Instagram and not only does she design, hand-make (in the USA!), and sell cute, comfy breastfeeding tops, she’s super sweet and so hardworking as well! She sent me a couple of her tops in exchange for my honest review. Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for a coupon code and giveaway information!

Top #1: Poncho
I love me a good poncho. They weren’t really in style when my babies were nursing but they’re the perfect new-mom piece now. The soft, drapey, flowy cut makes them perfect to hide the new-mom pooch (or, anything you want to hide, really) and, if you’re someone who likes using a cover to nurse, the poncho itself serves as a cover! This is a true poncho so it doesn’t have “sleeves,” which makes it easy to use as a cover. Just lift and latch! Out of the two pieces Marie sent me, this one is my favorite for sure. I plan to wear it often! Visit Marie on Etsy for different poncho designs. I paired mine with some skinnies and wedges but I also plan to match it with dress pants for work. I definitely recommend this top for all mamas and mamas-to-be (it would be a great maternity top).

Top #2: 3-Tier Top
I always gravitate to tiered tops because they camouflage my waistline well. Plus, black is slimming, too, so a black 3-tier top is right up my alley! This top is super comfortable, super flattering (in my opinion) and is specifically designed for nursing moms! Just lift the top two tiers to make nursing accessible (photo below). It comes in a few different colors but black is always my go-to. Plus, at $20, you can’t find a better price for a nursing top! I styled this top like I plan to wear it to the office but it can easily be worn with jeans and flats, a cute skirt, or pretty much anything, really! I’m wearing a size M.

Wow! How neat is this! I don’t know if they had this when I was nursing, but I sure didn’t know about it if they did. Great post!

I love the poncho! Didn’t even realize it was one–thought it was a shirt. Definitely will keep my eye out for them

I agree, most of the nursing tops out there are hideous! I LOVE that poncho top. Loose flowy/bat wing style tops are my go-to casual style with jeans. Stylish and practical in this case!

Very cute! We love to layer and be comfortable. Not frumpy!

Love tiered tops for the same reason, well now (after 5 kids) it is because of my waist and baby belly I never could get rid of. I love shirts that hang loose like that. This would’ve been a great top for breastfeeding.
