Y’all. I’m so proud of myself this year because I’ve actually started Christmas shopping early! I’m usually a post-Thanksgiving shopper but since time is something I don’t have enough of these days, I decided that little-by-little over a longer period of time is the way to go. That said, I thought I would share some of the gifts my girls are getting for Christmas this year. For reference, A is four years old and E is two, and while they both appreciate all kinds of toys, they are super girly at heart (and I love it).

There’s a good chance that you’ve never heard of Antebies so I’m beyond thrilled to introduce you to them! Antebies is a Turkish company whose handcrafted dolls, named Hope and Joy (sold separately), are made with the finest organic materials. They are loveable, huggable, and machine washable (can I get an amen?!)! Each handmade doll comes with an adorable carrying bag that your little girl can wear like a backpack. Antebies has partnered with rural women with the mission to empower and give them hope for a better life. Sweet E loves dolls and when I saw these, I knew she needed to have one. When it arrived in the mail I was blown away by the perfect packaging and high quality. I can’t wait for her to open it on Christmas morning; I just know that she is going to hug and kiss it (we call her “Sweet” E for a reason). I seriously love everything about this company, their story, and their dolls. I love E’s new Hope doll and I know she will, too. You can purchase Antebies dolls on Amazon or at these local retailers.
Not only does Sweet E love dolls, she’s also pretty obsessed with Minnie Mouse so I feel like she just has to have this adorable kitchen to go in her bedroom! We haven’t purchased this one for her yet but once I read the product description (below), it got added high to the the list! Here’s the description from the Target website:
“Little chefs will be pleasantly surprised to hear special Minnie phrases while they discover the kitchen’s many features, such as an oven with a fabulously fancy cake that actually rises as it “bakes,” a stove with burners that light up with sound effects, a sink and faucet that “drips” water, and even a fridge with an ice dispenser that really works! Minnie’s Sweet Surprises Kitchen has an oven door that opens and closes, real fabric curtains and oven mitt, clicking knobs, as well as over 20 kitchen play accessories and food, including cupcakes, cookies and a cookie jar, cups, pancake, frying pan, spatula and more!”
Word cannot describe how happy I am that A has developed a love for Barbie dolls. Barbie used to be my jam and I’m so thrilled to share that with her now! That said, at nearly 32 years old, I’m still bitter that I never had a Barbie Dream House. So naturally, my little girl has to have one (so I can play with it, obviously). This thing is huge and loaded and I cannot wait to play with it! I can’t possibly tell you all the cool features here to check it out and see how awesome it is for yourself!
How could you possible have the Barbie Dream House without the Barbie Glam Convertible? That’s easy, you can’t. I’m pretty sure the reason the Dream House comes with a garage is to sucker parents like me into buying the car. Well played, Mattel. Well played. Guys, it even comes with a coffee cup! Get in loser, we’re going shopping.
So there you have it, a glimpse into what will be under our tree this year. Do you have kids my girls’ ages? If so, what are you getting them?
