It’s been awhile since I’ve done a style post and I am so excited to have partnered with Ruthie Grace Boutique to talk about one of my favorite trends right now – bell sleeves! But, I found the mother of all bell sleeve tops; it has everything I’m loving right now. This one has eyelet detailing, a lace-up collar, scallop hem, and a flattering a-line cut.

Happy New Year and Welcome to my rebrand, Mom Without Labels! I am beyond excited to be sharing my new site with you after countless hours of first trying to finalize a new name (I’m so incredibly indecisive) and then actually getting everything set up; it was a lot more work that I imagined. I hope you love everything as much as I do. As promised, Mom Without Labels will have the same tone, voice, and types of content as Memoirs of a Working Mom, but I also plan to add posts about my transition out of the full-time work force… and anything else I feel like, really.

It’s almost Christmas which means the temperatures in Georgia are finally starting to feel like winter. Being from Florida originally, I tend to prefer fall temps but it seems we went straight from summer to winter with a few “fall” days in between. Nevertheless, the arrival of colder temperatures paves the way for sweaters and boots! I partnered with StyleWe to bring you two looks that I love!

Y’all, this post has been hard for me to write. These photos are hard for me to post. Mostly because in my hearts of hearts, I know I’m being ridiculous. Many of you will read this post and look at these photos and think that I’m absolutely crazy, and maybe I am; you’ll think I have dysmorphia, and maybe I do. You’ll tell me that I look great and that I should be proud of and happy with myself; that the way I think I should look is unrealistic and unattainable. But the truth is that while you might be right, I just don’t like my postpartum body and I’m not sorry about that. Some of you will be mad at me for thinking negative thoughts about myself because you’re not happy with yourself, either… and you’re entitled to that just like I’m entitled to how I feel.

I love fall. I won’t deny it. I love the way the leaves turn colors and fall away from the trees, symbolizing how we have to let go of the old and dead to make new for the new and fresh.I love the way A jumps through piles of leaves, laughing and giggling. I love the way that families come together to give thanks for everything in their lives. I love the cool weather, nestling up by a fire with warm cider and homemade chili. I love pumpkins, scarecrows, trick-or-treating, and apples. I love the colors and the flowers and the excitement in the air. I just love it all. But do you know what I love most? The clothes!
