Have I ever mentioned how not-domestic I am? Well, if I’ve failed to mention that until now, I apologize. I lack the gift of being able to create beauty with food and I’m not exactly the best hostess, either. The good news is that I’m not the worst (but pretty close). But, that being said, I have found myself hosting small-holiday dinners over the past few years and have had to scramble for appetizers for my guests. I mean, isn’t preparing a huge meal enough? Apparently not. So, sometimes I get a shrimp cocktail ring and call it a day. Other times, I set out “fancy” chips and dips or something of the like. We busy mamas don’t have a ton of time so low maintenance is the way for me. Stress-Free. Well, this year I decided to take an extra step and go with a Stella Cheese board using their delicious Romano and Parmesan cheeses! Stress-Free can be delicious, too!
I started with my cheeses, tossed on some organic grapes, some delicious genoa salami, and crackers. The perfect appetizer right?! I want to get one of those fancy cheese boards I see all over Pinterest but for now I will continue to use my wood cutting board. Yay for wedding gifts, am I right?
So, I’m actually picky when it comes to cheese but I loved Stella Cheese! It sliced super easily and had a great texture and flavor! I will definitely buy it for my next cheese board (or any cheese need, really)! I’m going to practice getting better at this so I can have it perfected by Christmas!
