New Beginnings: Controlling My Mom Diet With Viance Nutrition

So, I’ve been talking a lot about new beginnings lately and I must say that adjusting to the newness of my life these days has been more challenging than I thought it would be in some areas. I always knew that SAHM’s often don’t get a chance to eat but I thought surely I wouldn’t have that problem on my days home because my kids are more self-sufficient than babies. Wrong! I’ve actually had people at work ask me if I’ve lost weight because my face looks thinner. My response is always that I’m on the “mom diet” – being so busy with my kids that I often skip meals. However, skipping meals and snacking on junk throughout the day (my normal routine these days) isn’t a sustainable lifestyle so I’ve found some healthy snacks and a superfood meal replacement from Viance Nutrition to help keep me nourished and control my mom diet throughout my busy at-home days.

I got so excited when I discovered this brand that I bought a little bit of everything but today I want to share two specific products that have been helping me get through the day without being hangry: Brownie Bites and Vitality Blend.

Brownie Bites

These are such a great snack. Tasting like chewy fudge brownies, they’re 100% all-natural and only 100 calories. They also have 6g of protein, 7g of prebiotic fiber, and only 3g of sugar. I’ll admit, I get hankerings for chocolate and sugary foods way more than I should and the quickness of junk-food often outweighs the time it takes to make healthy options when I’m at home, so these are a perfect alternative. I can snack on them when I’m starved for food and time and not feel guilty about it.

Vitality Blend

Once I get to the point when I realize I’m hungry, I’m already in the hangry phase and, for the good of everyone around me, I need to have something in my stomach right that minute. It’s usually breakfast that I go without eating. That’s where Vitality Blend comes in. An easy to make nutrition shake, it takes only seconds to make and is packed with all the nutrition from an entire meal. It’s loaded with plant-sourced protein, fiber and omegas, alkalizing fruits and veggies, high-ORAC antioxidants, cleansing herb blend, prebiotics & probiotics complex. Just one scoop has 10g of protein and 5g of fiber with only 5g of sugar and 120 calories.  I prefer to make it with coconut milk and ice in a blender (it tastes like a Frosty from Wendy’s that way) vs. just cold water but it’s fine (and faster) that way, too!

Both help reduce cravings, provide energy, and are good for your gut. I get all of the nutrition with low-calorie and low-sugar options. So, thanks to Viance Nutrition, I can now have the advantages of the “mom diet” look without the nutritional detriment of snacking on junk food all day. The extra energy without the sugar crash is a huge plus, too.

I love shakes in the morning! But I definitely like to blend them with ice because they are more like dessert! haha
