Raise your hand if you hate your knees (*raises hand high*). I’ve hated my knees for as long as I have been able to be self-conscious about anything appearance-related. I’ve always had super skinny legs. Some people think that’s a good thing but it’s something I’ve always hated. The grass is always greener on the other side, right? I used to say that I wanted to get calf-implants so that my legs looked bigger. Sure, I have super skinny calves and I’ve come to own that, but what makes them appear even thinner is my knees (and the size of my feet). Why am I sharing this with you? Because my knobby knees make me love dresses that hit below the knee from an early age. Needless to say, I’m thrilled that midi-dresses have made their way onto the scene. Today’s look is from Fancy Frills Boutique; I love that this dress has a modest neckline, hits below the knee, and has a cut that is flattering to my mom-gut. Oh, and it’s on sale! I dressed it up a little with some patent one-strap heels but have seen it styled in a boho-fashion with a cute hat and ankle boots, too. Either way works for me!

Once upon a time, I thought I could never pull off an off-the-shoulder top. See, while I know I have a small frame, I have broad shoulders for a girl my size so I always thought that off-the-shoulder looks made me look slightly line-backer-ish. But, last summer my sister-in-law had the cutest off-the-shoulder top and it inspired me to copy her get one for myself. I’ve been hooked since then and am loving this trend! I found this adorable light blue sateen off-the-shoulder-top from Allura Boutique and paired it with my favorite flare jeans, chunky heels, a pendant necklace, and a simple clutch. I love this look because it can easily transition from day to night. It’s lightweight and flowy making it flattering and perfect for spring and summer.

Spring has officially sprung in Atlanta and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Spring weather has paved the way for me to wear alllll the florals that I want! I’ve already mentioned that I’m loving the return of the bell sleeve but I have to say that I’m even more excited for the return of the bell-bottom (flare) jean! I love me some skinnies but there’s something about a good flare jean that gives me all the feels (especially a high-waisted one to hold in the mom-gut). The Mint Julep Boutique is one of my favorite online boutiques; they have so many different items to choose from and everything is ah-dorable! I partnered with The Mint Julep Boutique to show you my new favorite look. Y’all. I’m seriously obsessed with this top – florals plus bell sleeves plus cold shoulders? Yes, please! It’s tunic-length but I tucked it in for this look to show off my new favorite jeans. When paired with skinnies, I like to let it flow untucked.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a style post and I am so excited to have partnered with Ruthie Grace Boutique to talk about one of my favorite trends right now – bell sleeves! But, I found the mother of all bell sleeve tops; it has everything I’m loving right now. This one has eyelet detailing, a lace-up collar, scallop hem, and a flattering a-line cut.

It’s almost Christmas which means the temperatures in Georgia are finally starting to feel like winter. Being from Florida originally, I tend to prefer fall temps but it seems we went straight from summer to winter with a few “fall” days in between. Nevertheless, the arrival of colder temperatures paves the way for sweaters and boots! I partnered with StyleWe to bring you two looks that I love!
