There’s something so sweet about Valentine’s Day, isn’t there? I used to love giving out Valentine’s cards as a kid at school and would anxiously wait to see how many I got and from whom. Such sweet memories. I love being able to relive that now through A, and soon through E. My husband isn’t a huge Valentine’s fan so I love having my girls that will be excited with me. Recently, I posted about the many Valentine’s Day gift and card options from Minted – something for everyone – and today I’m excited to share my picks with you!

Valentine’s Day is such a fun “holiday.” I use quotes because many, including my husband, don’t see it as one. But I totally do! I love the pinks, reds, and hearts everywhere! It’s so much fun. A loves it, too. Last year was the first year she got to hand out Valentine’s cards at school and she was super excited. Needless to say, she cannot wait to do it again this year! Wouldn’t it be great if there was a place you could order customized Valentine’s cards and gifts without leaving your sofa? Well there totally is!

Y’all. I’m so proud of myself this year because I’ve actually started Christmas shopping early! I’m usually a post-Thanksgiving shopper but since time is something I don’t have enough of these days, I decided that little-by-little over a longer period of time is the way to go. That said, I thought I would share some of the gifts my girls are getting for Christmas this year. For reference, A is four years old and E is two and while they both appreciate all kinds of toys, they are super girly at heart (and I love it).

Can you believe that it’s already time to start thinking about Christmas holiday shopping? I, personally, prefer to not start until Black Friday but with all the chaos of life these days, I’ve decided it’s better to start early and shop little by little. In fact, I already have a few gifts for my girls from IncrediBundles.com!

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a serious punctuality problem. It was bad before I had kids and is just hopeless now; I’ve pretty much resigned myself to it. That’s why I’m so glad we found a unique wood watch by JORD! Once I saw them online, I knew that Todd had to have one; it’s perfect for him and it helps him keep me on time!
